Accommodation

Default accommodation is in the dormitory of the Charles University. The dormitory is close to the university campus.

Travelling to the dormitory and to the campus:

from the airport Praha Ruzyne
  1. Take bus No 119 to the last stop ("Dejvicka").
  2. Take underground (green line "A") to the station "Muzeum".
  3. Change train to the red line "C" and go to the station "Nadrazi Holesovice".
  4. At the adjacent city bus terminal take bus No 102, 156, 175 or 210 for two stops or bus No 144 for one stop. This stop is called "Kuchynka" and is located immediately after the bridge.
  5. The faculty campus is dominated by the tall building just in front of you, the dormitory Kolej 17.listopadu is two high buildings seen on your right (about 150 m away).
 
from the train station Praha hl.n. (Prague main station):  Take underground (red line "C") to the station "Nadrazi Holesovice" and follow points 4. and 5. .
from the train station Praha Holesovice: Go to the city bus terminal (through the underpass) and follow points A4) and A5).
from the bus stop Praha Florenc:  Take underground (red line "C") to the station "Nadrazi Holesovice" and follow points 4. and 5. .

The cost of the ticket is CZK 12 and the ticket should be bought in advance in kiosks with newspapers, in the entrance to underground stations or on many bus stop in slot machines (only coins can be used). The ticket can be also bought in a city bus from a bus driver for CZK 15. One ticket is enough for the whole trip.
